Packing Supplies

Last night Michelle and I delivered the Mission Teams shirts and was able to visit with some of the members of the team before we left. Everyone was bringing in their suitcases while Gerhard was getting the scales set up. We had some laughs and kidding around with Wayne and Freddie, cause I'm going to miss their teasing while they're gone.

We wished them safe travels and Godspeed as we were leaving in case we didn't get to see them before they leave on Friday.

It is evident that the mission of Love for God's people in Africa lives in each of their hearts.

Let's continue to lift them up in prayer each day as they prepare to leave and are gone until their safe return back to us at GCPC

Packin' Up

The team will be packing up this Tuesday, May 27th. If there is anything you are wanting to send with them to South Africa, please make sure you get it to the Mission Team by Tuesday.

Commissioning of the Mission Team

Today, Sunday, May 25, 2008, is Commissioning Sunday for the 2008 South Africa Mission Team.

The choir and Tony Atwood serenaded the team with Field of Souls. The congregation sent forth the team to harvest that field and do as Jesus commanded us all to do.

The next step is to pack up and be ready to travel!
